CSL player guide
How to Join Competitive Rust Scrims
Start with one public identity that connects the website, Discord and the Rust hubs. Once the setup gates are complete, you can join a roster, build a party and compete.
Link the required accounts
Sign in with Steam, complete the Discord join flow and choose a unique public CSL username. Your private platform identifiers are not used as your public profile name.
Accept the regulations
Every player accepts the current rules before using competition features. Read them before joining a roster: they cover eligibility, conduct, evidence and match disputes.
Join or create a clan
Official rosters support up to 25 members. Founders and scrim leaders organize the side that enters a queue or tournament.
Prepare for the hub
Complete any required playtime and anti-cheat checks before match day. The queue cannot fix an eligibility issue after an opponent has already been found.
