Get paid to stream

Link your Twitch or Kick channel, put CSL in your stream title, and go live while you play. You earn points for the minutes you are in a game, and your viewers decide what those points are worth.

What you could earn

Move the sliders. Every figure is worked out by the same code that settles the real payment, so nothing here is a rounder number than what you would actually be paid.

Paid on the average viewers across the match, not the peak - a raid or a bought minute sets a peak. You are in the 10+ band, where 50 points pays $6.00.

Each game is priced as 20 minutes, streamed the whole way. FFA and Duels are the hours on the sliders. A 7v7 earns the same as a 5v5. 50 points pays $6.00 at this audience. The lobby earns none.

What it pays

1 point a minute in a 5v5, 6v6 or 7v7. 2 points a minute in an 8v8 or a tournament. 0.25 points a minute in a 1v1–3v3, 0.25 points a minute in FFA, and 0.25 points a minute in Duels. The lobby and aim training earn nothing.

50 points pays the amount in the table. The band is your average viewers across the match, not your peak.

The ad

Once, in OBS: add a Browser Source, paste the address from your creator dashboard, and set it to 1920×1080 on top of your scene. Nothing else to install. It stays invisible until an ad plays.

Adding the CSL ad to OBS, start to finish. About a minute and a half.

An ad is due every 15 minutes you are live with CSL in the title. It does not play on that minute. It waits until you are standing in the hub lobby, so it never covers a game. The ad is ours, about 15–20 seconds, and it plays with sound. The ad has to be set up to get paid: while the source is not in OBS, nothing is credited.

How to sign upWhat you actually doClick to open the steps.
  1. Step 1: Sign in with Steam

The programme pays a person, not a team, so you need an account - but you do not need a clan and you do not need to be a founder.

Already signed in? Skip to the next step.

  2. Step 2: Link Twitch or Kick

Use the buttons on this page. You can link one channel on each platform. You do not need to open your profile.

Their own sign-in confirms the channel is yours, then we throw the grant away. No token is stored, and checking whether you are live needs nothing from your account.

  3. Step 3: Put CSL in your stream title

Anywhere in it. CSL, #CSL and [CSL] all count, in any case. It has to be the whole word, so CSLeague does not.

This is the switch. Nothing is counted while it is missing, and taking it out mid-stream stops the clock until it is back.

  4. Step 4: Add the CSL ad in OBS

One Browser Source. Copy the address from your creator dashboard, paste it in, and set the size to 1920×1080 on top of your scene. Leave it there.

An ad is due every 15 minutes. It waits until you are standing in the hub lobby, so it does not play over a game. It plays with sound through the Browser Source, so leave that source unmuted in your mixer.

  5. Step 5: Go live, then play

Queue up, or play FFA or Duels on the hub. Points only count while you are in a game. The lobby earns nothing. The table above is what 50 points pays.

We ask the platform every 2 minutes. Credited time is the gap between two checks that both saw you live, so the clock runs a couple of minutes behind at each end and never ahead.

  6. Step 6: Get paid

When the match is confirmed, what it earned goes into your prize wallet - the same one tournament winnings land in, through the same 30-day hold, with the same $100 withdrawal minimum.

Your profile lists every match, what it paid, and why a match paid nothing.
